Anti-Discrimination Statement
SUPERBOOTH believes in the value of a unified global community in the world of electronic musical instruments and sound innovation, advocating for a diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking industry based on creative experimentation, mutual respect, freedom of expression, and innovation. We aim to create an environment where everyone can pursue their interests in electronic instruments and sounds without disturbance or discrimination.
We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, abuse, marginalization, or insulting behavior based on gender or gender identity, ethnicity, religion, origin, skin color, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, disability, body type, or age. SUPERBOOTH firmly rejects all forms of discrimination. We also do not tolerate any acts of violence, abuse, or harassment—verbal, physical, sexual, or otherwise—directed at visitors, exhibitors, partners, or employees.
Awarenessteam
During the event, an awareness team is available to support individuals who witness or experience discrimination, or who feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or disrespected, as outlined in the festival’s Code of Conduct below. We encourage all visitors, exhibitors, partners, and employees to report any incidents to the Awareness Team at the time of the event. The team will be reachable via a special phone number and messaging service, which will be posted around the event area. Code of Conduct
- Respect and Dignity: Treat everyone with respect, dignity, and kindness, regardless of their background, appearance, orientation, beliefs, or abilities.
- Consent is Key: Always seek consent before engaging in physical contact or discussing sensitive topics. Pay attention to body language and verbal cues.
- Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment of any kind, including verbal or physical abuse, unwanted attention, discriminatory remarks, or offensive comments, is strictly prohibited.
- Respect Personal Boundaries: Respect personal space and boundaries. This applies to physical proximity as well as conversations. If someone feels uncomfortable, stop the interaction immediately.
- Inclusive Language: Use language that is inclusive and welcoming. Avoid making assumptions about people based on their appearance, gender identity, or background.
- Responsibility: Participants are encouraged to uphold the Code of Conduct for themselves and others. If you witness inappropriate behavior, it is recommended to report it to the Awareness Team.
- Support a Safer Environment: Help maintain a safer environment for everyone by letting us know of any incidents of harassment, inappropriate behavior, or anything that makes you or others feel uncomfortable.
