Bitwig Studio 2 Workshop presented by Bitwig, Irrupt & Sonicwire

Claes Johanson, one of the founders of BITWIG will present Bitwig Studio 2's modularity concept and demonstrate the new seamless integration of Bitwig Studio 2 with external hardware. Claes will be joined for a live performance by Goran Simonoski from IRRUPT and Shigeru Tanabu from SONICWIRE. Mr. Tanabu will also demonstrate how to send MIDI to Bitwig Studio and will be playing the just-announced Bitwig Studio 2.1 Amp device with Bitwig Studio's Polysynth. You can expect an exhilarating and unique blending of musical styles and instruments.

Shigeru Tanabu:
Sapporo, Japan based DJ/Producer Shigeru Tanabu is known for releases on Francois Kevorkian’s Wave Music as well as Tokyo’s Apt. International label. Tanabu has collaborated with Brendon Moeller under his Beat Pharmacy guise and is currently working on several new projects including, ”Manaboo" jazzy tech dub disco with Brendon Moeller, and "AZZXSSS" a dubstep project with hiphop producer AZZURRO. Shigeru Tanabu also performed live together with IRRUPT cofounder Jay Ahern in Berlin at Tresor in 2016, as part of No Maps Creative Convention/Tresor 25th Anniversary.
Shigeru Tanabu works as a manager at SONICWIRE.
