Rainer Frey aka YREF will present his guitar installation "Flying Guitar" at the Soopergrail/Superbooth.
This is an electric guitar suspended in a steel frame on steel springs, played by hand and different materials, as well as running through midi-capable looper systems and sequencers.
When soloed with the guitar, his sound arcs seem worldly-intense and harmonious in a strangely atonal way. Within a few bars they unite to a serial flow, which above all bundles the tone formations as a
as temporally perceptible.

Performed in such a way, the music is situated in the vicinity of film - as a free flow of images.
