Holodeck is a project of northern German Sven that exudes passion for retro-futurist sounds and driving electronic beats with a tendency towards euphoric melancholy. For over twenty years, he has been practicing sonic and rhythmic research in his HOLODECK Studio, out of which he has released four albums. His influences are synthpop and wave bands like Human League and Gary Numan, as well as club acts like Underworld, Faithless and Gus Gus. Synthwave, darkwave and EBM are this Star Trek fanboy’s (hence the artist name!) playground. His new album „Science & Retrofurism“ releases on the first of July 2023.
