Sonia Killmann is an international saxophone player and electronic musician. They have performed across the UK and Europe and are collaborating closely with Cryptic Glasgow as a Cryptic artist, working in immersive installations and audiovisual performance.

Sonia's work merges organic and synthetic sound worlds by combining field recording, saxophone, and modular synthesis to create abstract soundscapes. Sonia has been exploring Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening concepts through circular breathing and adapting environments in the context of live performance. In 2025, Sonia won the Lumen Prize together with Laura Mannelli for music and performance with the installation Umweltraum(a).
