Aftershow w/ CYRK + Blazcyk
The Superbooth 10 year closing party in the beer garden to the right of the FEZ fountain – Wraping up SUPERBOOTH26 with CYRK and Blazcyk. See you there. Cheers!
CYRK, a Berlin-based duo born in the studio from a like-minded vision. Sam and Pascal have been moving audiences around the globe with their dynamic performances, whether as DJ duo or with their hardware live act.
Either performing live with a hardware set-up, or deejaying, CYRK crafts driving, eyes-down grooves, propulsive basslines, and sleek melodic atmospheres. A sound that’s both raw and refined. Their studio work has led to releases on acclaimed labels such as Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Jen Cardini’s DISCHI Autunno, Cormac’s Polari, Italo Moderni and Jorkes’ Freeride Millennium amongst many others.
September 2021, CYRK released their debut album, “Escaping Earth”, on Childhood —the label founded by Blitz Club’s Muallem. June 2022 “Freundschaft”, a collaborative album featuring co-productions with Steffi, JakoJako, Anthony Rother, David Carretta, Jensen Interceptor, Nite Fleit, Alienata, and Ravn Jonassen.
2026 has opened on a high note with CYRK reigniting their TIME ZERO label. The response was instant: vinyl copies of their “Not Human” EP sold out immediately, signalling a renewed appetite for TIME ZERO’s vision and reaffirming CYRK’s pull at the sharp end of the scene.
Behind the decks, the duo takes you from the darkest corners to unfelt cheerful heights. This Detroit-influenced fusion of house, acid, and electro, rooted in a deep love for Italo disco, lit some of the world’s most revered dancefloors including Panorama Bar & Tresor in Berlin, Wonderfruit Festival Thailand, À La Folie -Paris, Blitz – München, FAUST – Seoul just to name a few. Blazcyk is hard to pin down musically and very much does his own thing. His sense for rhythm goes back to his time as a drummer in a metalcore band. At some point, he traded drumsticks for needles, faders, and knobs, and started playing vinyl under the alias l.plate around Berlin. Throughout the 2010s, he played venues like Brunnen 70, Chalet, Morlox, and VCF, while also being closely connected to the online radio platform Tapedeck Berlin.
Now, he's based in Potsdam/Brandenburg, where he regularly plays at Club Spartacus at freiLand Potsdam and is a resident DJ with the non-profit techno collective Basskontakt e.V. His involvement goes beyond the booth—together with the collective, he actively contributes to shaping the local nightlife. Their events, much like his DJ sets, aren’t tied to one specific subgenre but follow a more intentional, concept-driven approach.
Blazcyk is a big fan of musical diversity and moves freely across a wide range in his mixes. It’s all about the vibe. His sound is hybrid—sometimes minimal, sometimes driving, sometimes unexpected—but never shallow.
