ANiON

ANiON aka Anne Farahani started her musical career as a classical musician playing the mandolin. As a musician, she has played numerous concerts in venues around the world and has received a number of competition prizes and scholarships.
As a member of the band Warning Act and a newcomer in the electronic music scene, ANiON explores Experimental and Ambience music in her solo projects. However, she is currently also working on an EP that will be closer to Electronica and bands like Massive Attack.
As a classically trained musician, she is inspired by the musical forms of Johann Sebastian Bach and John Cage. She works with (Semi) modular synthesizers, the electronic guitar, the mandolin and other instruments. Her music explores hidden musical dimensions and spheres and plays with the musical effects of rhythms and formal and sonic connections.
