Architecture & Flow: The Art of Building a Hardware Live Set:
This workshop centers around the concept of designing a personalized template using your chosen hardware. Before even touching the equipment, it's essential to establish a clear architecture and flow for your live set. This foundational step is not only vital for set construction but also an essential part of the creativity.
We will explore the significance of muscle memory in enhancing your performance and streamlining your workflow.
Next, I'll guide you through my approach from start to finish, emphasizing that there is no singular “right” or “wrong” method—every artist has their own unique pathway. For instance, I typically begin my creative process by designing my kick drums, setting the stage for everything that follows. As a bonus, I will share my tips and tricks I use so that the power of my live set matches the DJ sets.
During the second half of the workshop, I will deconstruct my own live set and share my techniques in real time. This segment will be interactive, allowing attendees to engage with an open Q&A session where you can ask anything related to the process.
This workshop will be held in English.
Please note: To enter the workshop you need a Superbooth ticket for the the day (or a 3-day ticket) + the workshop ticket itself. Both Tickets are vailable HERE in our ticket shop.
