Signal Shapes: Goniometric Sound Design w/ Polygonia

In this talk concert, artist and producer Polygonia offers insights into her work with visual sound analysis. The starting point is the goniometer module of the audio analysis software Inspect, developed by her company DSP Dealer, which is also exhibiting at Superbooth.
A goniometer visualizes spatial properties of audio signals and provides an additional perspective on sonic processes. Through visual representations, Polygonia presents some of her observations related to harmony as well as other interesting phenomena that emerge in the context of sound synthesis and signal design.
