Kontroll-Raum are Bas Broekhuis (NL): Synthesizer, Sequencer & Percussion. Frank Rothe (D): Synthesizer & sequencer. Mario Schönwälder (D): Synthesizer & Sequencer.

The music project was launched in 2019 on the occasion of a visit to Superbooth19 and has been focusing on modular synthesizers and sequencers ever since. Electronic music rooted in the "Berlin School" (best known representatives: Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze), which wrote music history in the mid-seventies, approaches from Krautrock and rhythmic approaches from progressive music of that era. Together with modern instruments and systems from the world of the Eurorack and an unusual sound design, the three musicians are increasingly creating their own world of sound.
