DJ-Set

Masahiko Saji is a Japanese DJ and producer who has been living in Berlin since 2012. On his early musical journey, he explored various styles since the 2000s, until in 2009 he decided to dedicate himself to club music. Digging for new music quickly became his favorite routine, a practice he continues to this day. In the studio, he enjoys working with both modular and hardware synthesizers, shaping these sounds with classic analog drum machines and samplers.

Another major inspiration for him is the speaker craftsmanship of Basil Martion, whose sound has influenced his music with elements of jazz, hip hop, dub, and funk. He is also continually impressed by the diversity and uniqueness of Berlin’s club culture. To give back to this universe, Masa has been actively involved for years not only in the musical sphere but beyond as well.
