Modular Synthesizer Ensemble
This concert is result of a 4-hour workshop with kids and teenangers. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. they will patch, experiment, improvise and work on a composition together.
The MODULAR SYNTHESIZER ENSEMBLE shows impressively that it is also possible to make music together with 12 modular synthesizers. The project enables immediate and intuitive access to electronic music even without any previous knowledge and is therefore open to everyone.
The project format was developed by Gammon, in cooperation with two Viennese schools, before it was presented for the first time during Superbooth 2017. "The essential thing for me is the shared musical process and the sensual experience in the group. From the first cable connection to the live performance without any previous knowledge. But even for the experienced, it is an exciting challenge to play together in a larger group." says Gammon.
A certain Mr Schneider says: "It is the only and at the same time the best way to stretch the patience of completely unknowing young people from the first contact to the collective performance. The collective result and satisfied faces prove the idea right."
On Saturday the workshop is open for registration for teenagers and young people Until now, the MODULAR SYNTHESIZER ENSEMBLE workshop was exclusively reserved for school classes from Berlin. This year, for the first time, other visitors also have the opportunity to take part. Please check the participation details HERE.
