Monolake
Monolake (Robert Henke) is an artistic toolmaker, creating music, audiovisual performances, installations, and computer graphics. His work ranges from concerts and compositions to large-scale, technology-driven installations, often built around custom-developed algorithms and machines. As Monolake, he explores the physical force of techno and the refined textures of contemporary music, while his visual work draws on Minimal Art and early computer graphics. He was one of the main creators of Ableton Live and has collaborated with artists such as Marko Nikodijevic, Tarik Barri, and Christopher Bauder, presenting his work at institutions including Tate Modern and Centre Pompidou, as well as at major international festivals.
