Murat Tepeli’s craft is balance: as a DJ and producer, he moves effortlessly between ecstasy and elegance, physical drive and emotional depth. Since starting out in the mid-’90s with a wide spectrum of influences—from hip-hop to drum & bass—house music gradually became his foundation, enriched by diverse sounds spanning synthpop to oriental textures. His productions mirror this duality, pairing melancholy with dancefloor urgency, reduction with opulence. With releases on labels like Playhouse, Ostgut Ton, and Philpot, as well as his collaborative album Serenity with Prosumer, Tepeli has helped shape modern house music.
