Peryl

Peryl is an electronic music producer and live act, renowned for his deep sonic exploration and technical expertise in sound research. His music blends elements of Techno, Experimental, and IDM into a powerful and hypnotic sound, captivating both the dancefloor and the individual listening experience.

This performance will be a fully improvised live set, played on the Elektron Octatrack in an active listening environment.

Using a limited setup of 8 individual sampling tracks—sequenced and performed live—the set delves deeply into sound design and synthesis. Granular staging and compression are essential elements of the sonic palette.

Except for some human voice, every sound will be sculpted from a single-cycle sine wave. This method transforms the sampler into a polyphonic synthesizer, enabling drones, filter pings, and other sonic textures.
