VMO - Volca Massaker Orchester

Since 2014 the orchestra has used only the Volca electronic device, made by musical instrument maker KORG, to play improvised electronic music. The little devices can be linked and so keep the same beat as they are connected by a cable. There is no repertoire – the pieces are reinvented every time, nothing is prefabricated.

The orchestra currently consists of Daniel Wihler, Nicolas Kellner, Maru Rieben, Annie Rüfenacht and Pete Leuenberger.
