Wilted Woman

Wilted Woman is the primary musical alias of Elizabeth Davis since 2014. Her output under the WW name disregards genre or easy categorization, ranging from minimalist electroacoustics to harsh noise to something resembling club music. In addition to her solo work, she regularly collaborates with Silvia Kastel as Shakey, with Christoph de Babalon as Suds, and with Nick Klein. As WW, she has released over 20 records to date on labels such as Alien Jams, Primitive Languages/Psychic Liberation, Phantasy, and Stenze Quo. She has also performed at venues and festivals across Europe and North America, including Sonic Acts, Cafe Oto, Transmediale, ZKM, Fylkingen, Meakusma, and the Volksbühne, as well as countless basements, clubs, restaurants, and living rooms.
