Workshop - Building a Performance System in Bitwig Studio

Thavius Beck is a revered multi-instrumentalist, producer, and emcee who has released numerous albums and worked with artists such as Saul Williams, Nine Inch Nails, and the Mars Volta. In this session, the respected educator and Bitwig Certified Trainer will demonstrate how to integrate a song composed in Bitwig Studio into a larger live performance project. He’ll cover CV integration using Bitwig Connect, flexible parameter mapping using Project and Track Remotes, alternative Clip Launcher settings, creative use of the crossfader, and how to easily MIDI map or create custom shortcuts to navigate the set. Finally, the new song will be added to a bigger show set. By the end, you’ll know how to turn your music productions into a compelling live performance.
