Instruments of Things

Instruments of Things® develops novel controllers for intuitive control of electronic musical instruments based on movement wearables and light sensors. The latest product SOMI-1 allows performers with up to 6 body-worn movement sensors to control MIDI compatible hardware and software with low latency. The optional SOMI-1 Mobile App for iOS and Android offers a selection of interactive soundscapes for users without technical pre-knowledge. The Sound Designer Kit (SDK) additionally allows artists to create their own soundscapes based on Pure Data.
