TONARIUM

Tonarium is a unique instrument designed and built by Jan Dybala and Piotr Ceglarek, lecturers at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. It was conceived as a mobile, analog experimental studio enabling parallel work in the domain of 3D sound. The system was developed with specialists from Poland, Austria, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, responsible for custom matrix mixers and components integrating analog and digital environments. Implementation was carried out by the Soundscape Foundation based in Silesia.
