st.raumen - stream, flow, electricity
at superbooth 22, st.raumen will present their latest mini-album „struktur".
the duo recorded the tracks between twin studios in berlin and brighton and - as with 2021’s ponyhof – enlisted the support of some exciting guest vocalists to add layers of meaning.
st.raumen’s genre defying blend of post-modern heavy analogue electronics is suffused with confusion and anger, describing unseen worlds, dark thoughts and meanings between meaning.
beats and textures are wrought from modular racks, vintage synths, shortwave radios and found objects, heavily processed through guitar amps and primitive effects boxes.
embracing chaos, decay and disintegration they reflect and amplify the stupidity and pointlessness of the modern world. dark and complex, these new songs speak of pain and of transgression.
as ever, expect hard sounds and chaos (#makelaughnotwar)
the performance will feature guest vocals from the incredible Joy Tyson (snake milk)
